Assorted 95 Piece Coloured 2:1 Heatshrink Set in Case

An assorted heat shrink tubing set of mixed colours and sizes, ideal for the home or professional automotive and DIY electrical installer. Heatshrink tubing is a special plastic sleeving that you slide over a wire connection (before joining the wires), the tube is slid far enough away from the wire joint, then when the wires have been joined together and twisted or soldered, the sleeving is moved to cover the bare wire and then heated, the heat activates the tube to shrink over the wire.

Once the heatshrink has shrunk it provides insulation between the bare joined wires, and reduces the risk of moisture accessing the joint, heatshring creates a perfect professional finish and is often a requirment on electrical connections.
